Everything Is Practice

Hello,

Everything is practice.

Anytime we're building any new habit, it's just practice. It's creating. We are literally creating the neural pathways in our brain for this new way of thinking or a new way of being.

Every time we practice our new habit, we give ourselves the message "well I survived again" "this is what I want" "that went well" or "I'm getting the results I want" and we end up building more and more trust in our new habit and our ability to create it.

The next layer is--once we've created this new habit, we feel empowered to create a new one because we have experienced that we can successfully create new habits. It's a cycle that keeps repeating on and on. So if you're practicing a new GOOD habit, the next thing you're building is yet another GOOD habit. That means you get the opportunity to level up by doing a thousand small changes.

And it's all just practice. We learn what's working, toss out what's not, learn where we need more support, what we need to shift, and then watch ourselves grow and reap the rewards of the new habit.

Love,

Dr. Jane Tornatore
