Human Emotions

Hello,

Human emotions are powerful and often deeply connected to our personal experiences and memories. Our bodies hold onto our feelings until we are able to express them. Sometimes we can tap into physical sensations to notice stored feelings.

Do some conversations leave you feeling icky?
Do certain people make you feel like running away?
Do particular subjects make certain muscles tight?
Do you notice your jaw clamp shut or your leg shake when old arguments arise?

Our feelings often stay with us, waiting to be released until we take the time and effort required to express them. By expressing our emotions openly and honestly, it allows us to unlock a sense of release that can help bring peace into our lives.

Take a moment for self-reflection and build awareness around how these feelings might be influencing your day-to-day experiences. Identifying and putting words to the emotion can bring about understanding, clarity, and a sense of resolution.

With enough focus and patience, we will eventually be able to clear away some of those old feelings and be able to move forward in healthier ways

Love,

Dr. Jane Tornatore
